Joham, this is an old post and you'd benifit better going to the top of the page where it says "post a question" and starting your own thread. Sorry I can't give you an answer to your question. I know nothing about parole. But I do think if it's prescribed by a doctor I can't see you being in trouble. Just my opinion though.

If he finds out and you have a legitimate prescription, don't worry about it. If he gives you a hard time about it and asks you why you did'nt tell him take him a copy of your HIPPA rights. Also, it will clearly state in the terms of your probation if it's necessary for you to provide that info up front.

I wouldn't worry about it. Sounds like you're doing everything you should be doing.
I would not tell him about the Sub at this point. They will not find it in a standard drug screen. They must look for it specifically. You only have 2 months of probation left, you'll be fine.
Congrats on the baby.  Just be sure to check with your Sub doctor about Sub and pregnancy. He may want you to do a very, very slow taper so that your daily Sub dose is very low. I'm not sure, talk to your Sub Doc.
Take it easy and stop freaking out...you'll be ok.

if it were me i would not tell the po...he has no reason to be suspicious if you are not getting in trouble and even if he pops a drug test on you it wont show up...stop sorrying and enjoy being pregnant..lol  you will be okay...thats just my opinion.

well i am worried now because i am soon of parole after being on two yrs, and now am pregnant and stressed what if i would have to go jail, and  although this is not drug charges, i had drug charges in past, and i had to go to treatment when i got out of jail ,  but i am worried that since i didnt tell him for so long , i have been clean since last may on suboxone, only relapsed once even before that and quickly got on the sub in the first place to help with pain and to keep me clean, my po dont really bug with me much, and i dont get in trouble anymore, i do community service, i just think he is gonna be pissed me being on a controlled substnace so long and not telling him , i dont even know if i should, cuz maybe it doesnt show up as anything, i am just freaking cuz i am pregnant, and dont want no harm to come to the baby by me going to jail and they dtoxing me cold turkey sorry i am rambling and thanks for replies

There should be no problem as far as being on Sub if it prescribed by your Doctor. I don't see why you would need to tell your  Probation Officer about the Sub, unless the reason for your probation is due to a drug charge. Then maybe you should. It does show the effort to get clean and you are not doing it illegally.
Is your current probation due to a drug charge? If so, you probably should tell him about the Sub. But it absolutly should NOT be considered a violation of your probation, since it is prescribed by a doctor and you are showing an effort to get clean. Sub will NOT show up on a drug test unless they test specifically for Sub. If your current probation is not for drug charges, I would not think it would be necessary to tell him. I wouldn't think you would have to tell him if you were on anti-depressants, right?
But I see no reason why you should fear telling him, since your script is legal.

when my daughter was on suboxone, i asked the dr about drug test and he said it will not show up...you can go anywhere and take and employment drug test and not fail it.  i assume that would be the same type test you would take,  he did say there was a test for sub, bust very expensive and there would have to be a specific reason to give it.
