day 3 free

Today marks day 3..I have been taking hydros oxys off and on for two years now..never going more than 4 days without. I have history of high anxiety. I have st. Johns wart to take to help with this on top of my regularly taken Zoloft. Is the worst behind me? I don't NEED to be done I AM done..I would just like some form of outlook. I was addicted to cocaine in the past spending $60 a day..once I decided I was done that was it..I know this is different and harder..just please someone help with an outlook and timeline?

Hi..well congrats on getting over the phyical part.....now starts the ''mindscrew''  just because the pills stop does not = recovery  that takes work....the addict is still alive and well in your head and is going to strick at you every chance it gets.....now you can ''white knuckle'' it and try this alone  most fail  or your can embrace recovery....for me N/A has been the magic bullet it treats the  addict.....it dosent mater the substance it is the obsessions and compulsions that drive us to use  you say you had a 60 buck a day cocaine habit so your not new to addiction  your young you can live a full life if your willing to take our suggestions so now that your feeling better google a N/A meeting near you and GO!!!

Well had my alarm set for 6 am today and was out of my bed at 5am.. This is the first time in two years this has happened!!! Physically YES today I wake up feeling my used to be normal pains and tightness.. Which is frustrating only being 26 years old..but I can't describe the feeling of success being up before my alarm! My plan is this forum and my own encouragement.. I have set random alarms on my phone of morale and success boosters and created a calendar to help me keep track of my days and goals..one day at a time..but in two days this will be a week behind me! Small goals. Thank you for your kind words!

Hi and Congratulations on Day 4!!!   You CAN do this and are doing great!!!
Are you feeling better physically?  Once that gets better it is time to deal with the mental part and that is challenging if you don't have some kind of aftercare in place.  Do you have any plans for aftercare?  It really is the only thing that has kept me clean and sober for the last 13 months!!!
Keep on posting and let is know how you are getting on!!!  ♡

Hi welcome. I notice you're taking Zoloft and are going to take St Johns Wart. It's not advise able to take the latter while on an anti depressant as it could lead to Serotonin Syndrome. Discuss with your dr or pharmacist. Wishing you well.
