It does get easier-the physical withdrawl at least. But you have to have something to help you with the mental withdrawl if you are to stay away from it. Have you thought about NA- Narcotics Anonymous? That takes care of the mental obsessions. The first few days are the roughest, at least from me personally speaking, clean over 4 years now. Its up to you if you want to continue living like this, the choice is yours. You could live from prescription to prescritpion, or live life without the obsession over a substance. Recovery does happen and it is possible, whatever choice you make, you will be ok, best of luck
HI welcome to the forum usually detoxing is a 4 day deal with day 5 coming out of it that will cover most of the physical side effects there is a mental battle thet you have to fight your addiction will be screaming at you to get the refill call and cancel it b/4 you cave and pick it up if you have been on long term aftercare is strongly recommended you have to reteach your brain how to think without the drugs we often use them not only for physical pain but emotional as well with headaches this is probably true a lot of headaches are caused by stress both N/A or A/A offer great recovery programs and there free if not that there are addiction therapist as well as substance abuse conslors that will work one on one with you your addiction will not just go away because you have detoxed yourself it needs to be treated for long term sobriety I wish you the best of luck with this keep posting for support .....God bless......Gnarly
