Vicodin Addiction

I've been vicodin free for almost three days after being on them for 9 months. From what I've read here, that's not a lenthy period of time, but it still hurts like hell. I had so much diarrhea I ended up at the hospital with IV fluids.

They gave me a small, small prescription for Vicodin, which I haven't taken. It's on the kitchen table. I'm thinking about it, but also thinking it needs to work for me. I'm thinking one a day, at the worst point of my day. Anyone have any detox remedies?

Hi & Welcome,

You have gone 3 days now and that is wonderful. rip up that prescription or you will be right back where you started. By tomorrow you should start to feel better. Imodium works well for the bathroom issues. Also, push fluids to stay hydrated and try potassium supplements as well. Eat bananas along with the supplements to replenish the potassium. Whatever you do, don't use. You have come this far, don't turn back.

Keep talking here. There is a lot of great support. Any questions, just ask away. Someone will always be around to help you out.
