Great post ouchie! I just wanted to give you some support and tell you that you can do this! If you really want your life back then you can take it back. Yes it will be hard but nothing worth it comes easy. I would definitely get all the supplies ouchie talked about and also some ensure if you are not able to eat. Drink lots of water and Gatorade and sit in the hot baths with Epsom salts as many baths as you can take. Lol I lived in the bath :) you can do this and we will be here to support you. Congrats on wanting your life back!

Considering it sounds like you go through withdrawls monthly...I've been in that cycle myself...why not go for just a bit longer 1 time and be done?  I know it sounds easy...I'm a 10+ year opiate addict with another 6+ years on suboxone and today is day 35 clean for me.  I do not recommend suboxone, I do recommend getting clean.  The first week is going to be the worst....from what it sounds like.  The second week you will probably start feeling a bit better...not good....the insomnia and rls (I'm assuming rls) you experience will most likely pass after 2 weeks.  That may sound like long, but you probably have tallied up more withdrawl month to month than if you just stuck it out.  Like Ouchie said, cut ties, tell your doctor you are done and keep coming here, reading, posting and surviving.
Sometimes literally making it moment to moment is all you can do.  Hot baths with Epsom salts will help your legs and general feeling.  If you need to take one at 2:00 in the morning...do it.  Taking 3 hot showers a day gets you through clean to the next day...please do it.  Whatever you need to do that keeps you clean and sane....just do it.  Try to go for a walk each day to get your body working, which will help you detox faster.  Drink water, take your vitamins and eat as healthy as possible.
Try not to over think the lack of sleep...it will fix it self.  I went 3 weeks with very close to 0 sleep.  I literally mean 0 sleep...but subs are a real bummer to come off of, and yours should not be nearly what I had to deal with.  We all have been through what you are going through....you are not alone I promise you.
If you are withdrawing right now, don't throw away what you have already endured and keep going...you will pull through the other side.  If you haven't, but are ready to step off, get all the stuff you need to help and get your mind and body ready.  Try to just let it happen and not fight it.  Unfortunately there will be a period that is uncomfortable....physically and mentally and not necessarily all at once.  Your body and mind has to reset, get back to zero and that won't happen over night.  You have been dulling yourself (as did most of us) for a long time and when that leaves your body and mind will sway back and forth until it lands back on zero and you are you.  But imagine all you can do and feel once you are back.
I hope this helps.....and look at all the people that are here to help....you may feel alone...but you're not.

Hi and welcome!!! Look up the Thomas recipe on the bottom right corner, minus the benzos. Withdrawaling is not a walk in the park, I was taking about the same as you were daily. It might feel like you're going to die, but I can assure you you won't.
I suggest if you're really ready to quit you need to cut your sources. Tell tour Dr and tell your family. That way when it gets really hard you won't cave.
Buy sine melatonin fir sleep. Although I literally only slept 3 hrs in 5 days. But slowly you will start feeling better. If you can't sleep try not to force it, try going for a walk, or watching a tv series. Something to keep your mind busy. I love reading at this site, it kept me busy.
Buy some Epsom salts and take as many baths as you need. The first few says I literally took 8-10 baths a day.
Try and get out, or get up from the couch n walk. The exercise will help.
Post your symptoms on here, we will try and help.
