oxycontin

My boyfriend and i were on 40-80 mg of oxycontin a day, sometimes a little more. We did this every single day for like 3 months, and before that we did them a couple times a week for the past year. We decided to quit cold turkey because of the amount of money we were spending.  We are now on day 3 and feel nothing. The only withdraw symptoms we have experienced are being grouchy and tired. I have been in school and wor everyday and he works in the coa mines. Why are we not sick? Are we going to get sick with withdraw later?

You are so lucky. I was doing 30-60 a day for 6 months and I am sick as a dog... jealous!!! lol

i hope not.  you were only doing them everyday for 3 months....please count yourself lucky and dnt go back to them....i used them for along time and really wanted to die when i quit them c/t.  check out some aftercare...it is vital in longterm sobriety.  good luck to you both.
