pregnant and addicted to pain killers

I am 29 weeks pregnant and have been using percocet through out my pregnancy. I have sciatica and HORRIBLE tooth pain. Everytime I try to quit another problem comes on. Like right now I have an abcess tooth and I am waiting for my insurance to approve me to go to a specialest. I am in so much pain so I just keep taking percocet. I want to know how I should go off it (cold turkey or taper) and if I go off it now will my baby still have withdrawl symptoms when he is born? Thank you

PLEASE get professional help today. I see these developmentally delayed babies everyday at work.  They NEVER catch up. I'm only on my second day clean, but I see how insidious this disease of addiction is, and the lies we tell ourselves to keep taking the drugs.  If you can't stop for yourself, stop for your baby.  It's for the rest of her or his life! The first step was posting, now take the second step, and get clean.
I hope this doesn't sound mean or condescending.  I am coming from a place of love and concern for both of you.

Im 4 months pregnant and I have been taking pain pills for a year and a half im trying to stop and having a hard time im scared to talk to my Obgyn abt it and I just need help to stop taking them please if u have any advice in what I should do please let me no im very scared abt this and I dont want to hurt my baby

TELL YOUR DOCTOR  have them help you make up a taper plan .they know you and your medical history and what will be best for you and your baby .

u have to act and act fast tell your mibwife or doc my girlfriend is 4months pregnant and when i got her pregnant i was using perk 10 8-10 a day we told our midwife and everything is okay this past tuesday she got all out blood work back and we had the ultrasound that tests for defects with the fetus and are midwife said we have a very healthy baby and neither of us have any diesease or problems i was so scared cause i thout my using when i got her pregnant would have some affect on the baby but thank god it didnt u have to tell your doc or ob or midwife cause there are tests they can do to see if anything is wrong do it 4 yourself and stop but not c/t or u will hurt the baby maybe tampering is the best 4 u

I know it will be hard but she really needs to know for the health of your baby. I do know where I live if a child with a substance in there system that they don't know about the hosp will call cps in. You need to tell your ob. Pls your baby will probably be ok but they need to know

no she does not know. I treid cutting down but with my tooth pain it is not working.

I would cut a half pill every 4to5 days dose your ob know you are on them. If not pls tell them. They can help alot

You need to slowly taper off the wds can be bad for your baby. How many do you take a day
