quiting percosets

I have been taking percoset for a few yrs now. I dont take them all day long just at the end of the day to relax with. I want to stop before they take over, i have heard way to many horrible stories about people battle addictions with these. What is the best way to stop? I take 15mg one time daily. Thanks

I took my last 15mg pill at 6:00pm on 6-20-10, I had such a hard time falling asleep last night and once i did fall asleep i woke ever few hours. I am noticing some anxiety but not to bad. I was going to wait till mid august to try to stop but figuared what the hell I am out and just had a good friend get put into a clinic for these. How long do the restless nights last for? That seems to be the biggest problem along with the anxiety. thank you for your posts!

pick a day stop the pills cold turkey drink lots of fluids and keep ur mind occupied after a week or even a few days on such a low dose u WILL be fine now in my case its a totally different situation i am gonna go through sheer hell for the better part of a month and would hate to see anybody get to this point so please do urself a favor and just QUIT asap!!!

i warn u please stop now before it gets worse.... these things have taken over my life over the last few years my tolerance is through the roof now and i am going to quit august 1st with help of a detox clinic but this is what its come too!!!! its a terrible addiction and with u being on such a low dose u can stop it before it gets worse please take my advice coming from an addict that regrets it all!!!

Just stop.  You are a pretty low dose so the withdrawals should not be so bad.  Check out the Thomas Recipe, get the supplies together and pick a day.  We are all here to support you.  Good job realizing you have a problem now and not waiting until it becomes a much larger issue.
