getting off of suboxone

ive been on suboxone for about 5 years and ive been trying to ween myself off of them .im taking 2.5 for 4 times a day but im having a hard time doing that so i want to know if i go in to rehab if they have something to get to give me to gey me off these /

What would you Advise someone without the money to afford your detox services ?

It's important to go very slow in a taper after 5 yrs use. Many have to stop and stabilize for a couple months before another drop. Most seem to get better if they stay at a slightly uncomfortable dose until it feels normal. 10mg a day doesn't sound like much, but it is approx. equal to 300-400mg of morphine. Try to relax as much as you can, and don't drop to a level that is really uncomfortable. Slooooow and steady wins the race. Glad you are ready to get off subs.
