was told to either call and talk to a councellor or someone could call me,.....if you find out if suboxone is available somewhere in southern ontario ...please let me know ...thanks...
Well i might be hot on the trail of something but I am going to have to wait until Monday to get more info. The weekend staff don't know much about anything but she did acknowledge that they do have a doctor that might be what I was looking for. So if you can wait 2 more days I might have better information for you. Did you try those other numbers I gave you. I was just wondering because I would like to know if using those is barking up the wrong tree.
thanks for the help,if i need more help i will certainly ask..after some research last night....i have since found out that there is a doctor that treats with suboxone in Thunder Bay of all places..the College of Phys. has approved the drug in 2004 but little doctors have signed on for training...i mean who wants to work with people with drug problems right ??...were the scum of the earth....anyway thunder bay is to far for me but since there is at least one doctor working with it ...there has to be more...i'll let you know ..and thanks again ...
I live in Ottawa. You could try calling a place called Centre for Addiction and Mental Health the number is 1-800-463-6273. They might be able to steer you in the right direction. Or there is a local place here in Ottawa that has a good reputation it is called Addictions & Problem Gambling Services of Ottawa-Sandy Hill community Health Centre there number is 1-613-789-8941 also have a web site www.APGSO-STJPO.ca I know they have in patient treatment also have good advice on home detoxing. they might even have the information you are looking for on the subs. It doesn't hurt to call either place to ask that info. If they don't do it there at least maybe they can steer you to who does. I also have a feeling that there might be a dr at Montfort Hospital here in Ottawa that might do that but I don't have his name, you would have to call the hospital and ask that... and last but not least The Royal Ottawa Hospital deals with addiction patients all the time so that might be another alternative for you. I hope this was somewhat helpful... if you need numbers of the other places just ask, my cats are all over the phone book right now so it is making it to hard for me to look....
between ottawa and toronto ontario... small town...but would drive if i had too.....
what part of Canada are you in?
Have you tried going to www.suboxone.com? I think you can type in your area to see what Doctors are in your area.
