please make sure you have your obgyn involved in tapering you if that's what is decided. to many doctors know how to prescribe opiates but not enough know how to get you off properly. your obgyn will make sure it is within the babies best interest.

is your doctor prescribing these to you while pregnant? i know there are few who do, not that it's a very good idea but better than taking a street drug i guess. DON'T stop cold turkey you could miscarry the baby.if you're prescribed the norco  you need to talk with your obgyn & doctor & come up with a plan. u should cut yourself back down to 6 if they're prescribed.if you tell them your abusing your dose they will treat you like gold until the baby is born and then CPS will be called as soon as the baby is born and the only way to keep them from taking the baby is to enter a program such as methadone or suboxone. trust me i learned the hard way 4 yrs ago when i had my son.i didn't know that i could go to my local methadone clinic and they would take me immediately cause i was pregnant. now 4yrs later i'm 12 days clean from the methadone. i do warn you though methadone is a powerful drug, evil! on the first couple bad days of my withdrawal i would cry at times wishing i was withdrawing from pain pills

First tell your dr and obgyn. The dr who prescribes the pills will put u on a safe taper plan. Do no quit cold turkey...your baby will go into withdrawals.
