vitadone and pregnant??

I  am on a methadone maintenance program and would like to start taking vitadone supplements. is it safe while pregnant? i am almost 9 weeks pregnant. No bashing please... Thank You!

Hey I heard vitdone is bad for pregnant woman because it contains seafood :/ I'm on methodone and take vitodone so symptoms of methodone but I had to stop because I an about 7 weeks pregnant:(

Do you see a doctor?  I'd ask them.  Mine wanted to know everything and even things I'd never guess mattered, so tell your doc!

Hi and welcome and congrats on the pregnancy!  I dont know much about vitadone but like Vicki said the prenatal vitamins have all the stuff you need in them!  Check with your OB about it before you start taking it!  I work in a methadone clinic and can tell you that lots of healthy babies have been born in the 22 years that I have been working there!  Keep posting and let us know how you are doing!

I think vitadone is expensive and if you're taking a prenatal vitamin it's sufficient. The prenatals have the exact amounts of all the vitamins and minerals you need plus iron which the vita done doesn't contain, as far as I know.  Have you asked your doctor?     All the best!
