Sounds like a great guy! Everyone does not abuse pills and my mom has had a bottle of darvacet for over a year in her cabinet...she threw it away when I told her of my problem! good luck with that guy, he sounds like a keeper to me! LOL
I spoke w/him and confessed that while he was in the store I was looking for a napkin or tissue in his console. I told him I recognized the bottle of pain pills. (Which I didn;t know what they were until you guys told me)
He said he broke his femor bone Dec 31, and wanted to know if I notice the cane in the back seat?
I asked what all was he taking. Boy, did he have a list of oxys, roxys, and all the stuff I hear on this forum. He said that he still has all the orginal bottles at home and they were to strong to work on. He says he hardly never has to take anything anymore & they were in his car for in case now & then.
He wanted to know my concern.......so I confessed! He said he's cleaning out his med cabinet should I ever go to his house!
Its Darvocet.....if this person were addicted or having a problem with them do you think they would have them in the console of their car?......I know most people who are addicted dont leave their stash in a console of a car....usually if your addicted to something its on your person or in your house.....I wouldnt leave my DOC laying out for everyone to see....esp on a first date..I'd prolly put a few in my pocket....most addicts keep it safe and put away, not out in the open....too bad you couldnt see the date on the bottle?!? ....that is a difficult call, cuz you dont need to get involved with an addict, but at the same time having a bottle of darvocet in the console doesnt mean he is one....I hope you find some peace about this person...best of luck to you ~ peace
Tis darvacet...big pink ugly looking pill full of tylenol with a weak narcotic base...many cases of tylenol poisoning a while back due to people taking so many to get high as the med is weak
propoxyphlene are pink oval tablets.
Generic darvocet are white and oval
I would take caution going out with him again.... Who drives around with pills in their console??? Addicts do. Normal people keep them in their medicine cabinet or at least at home.
They were which and sort of a big oval shape
darvon or darvocet.......if they are little pink capsules.......stay away......pink tablets...darvocet.....not so evil, but an opiate.....weak, but still an opiate....comparable to codeine??? I think, but if its the capsules.....oh, to familiar with those.....bad, bad, bad.
