The good thing about the withdrawls from Vic"s is they dont last but about three to five days. Take the advice given above and just stay strong and try to stay away from the pills. They almost ruined my life. We are here to support you.

You have already gotten some great advice...you might want to check out the health pages - there are some natural remedies that can help to alleviate some of the symptoms associated with withdrawals. If you are not eating properly - hard to do right now usually - try to get some Boost or Ensure...your body needs those nutrients to heal. Vitamins are also good during this time - There is a product called NaturalCalm, recommended to me by a nurse at a detox facility...it is a powdered blend of calcium and magnesium that you mix with hot water and drink like a hot tea...easily absorbed by your body.
I also agree that music can help tremendously -
Best of luck - please continue posting for support and to provide an outlet for your feelings.
Peace
Yea, I am not really a walk type person but I took about 4 a day during days 3,4,5. I tried to just wear my body down so I could sleep. Try some ibuprofen too. I took a ton of hot showers and even used icy hot.
Try taking a warm/hot bath. Add epsom salt if you have some. Make sure you are drinking plenty of fluids. Gatorade is good if you like it. Try and get up and move around as much as you can. That helps our natural endorphins kick in. You both are doing a good thing here by getting clean. This part wont last forever even tho it feels like it right now. Put on some music as that is very theraputic too. Keep posting sara
Paige - same question I have - I am on day 8 of vicodin withdrawls and the aches are killing me..
