Hi, it sounds like you need to follow your instincts.  She most likely is using again and you need to confront her.  I am addicted to hydrs's (nothing I am proud of) but my husband can tell when I have been using.  I am tapering off of them now and hope to be free of this addiction soon but in your case you need to talk to your wife.  I don't think you should be confrontational because she will become defensive and deny everything.  Let her know your suspicions and that you love her and want her to be healthy.  Let her know that it is not just for herself or you but our children.  I have tow kids of my own and I want this not only for me but for them also!!!  ladydi4185

other than the leg s kicking at night and her body jumping (spasticly)(sp).which hasn't happened that often. i am pretty sure its not (RLS)  been with her for over 8 years and have never noticed this before  i have notice her pupils to be very small and they dont seem like they dialate.  she is also someone that takes prozac, and drink a six pack nightly.  she tends to have a couple of nights during the week that she doesn't go to bed until 1:45-2:00.  in the past when she told me she was using the pain pills she told me that is one of the ways i would be able to tell if was back on them sometimes she will sleep most of the day away.  about once a month she will have a day where she totally awful,  and i know its not her menstral cycle.  it usually last a day and then the next she is fine.
i have 2 great children at home and dont want to see the their mother heading for a place of no return.  because i am ignorant to this kind of thing i am just trying to educate myself some to know what to lok for when she lies to me.  thanks for any help

Look at her pupils is the easiest way.
Just look into her eyes in a not so lit room and if her pupils are pinpoint then you can have a good idea she,s on them, now if she is a day or two into wd then her pupils will get huge even in a lightened room

I am no expert here but I have been there and from my experience her tossing and turning and spastic jumps while sleeping are from withdrawals. But I dont know sometimes when I was taking the pills my body would do that spastic jump in the middle of the night. Could have been my body already withdrawing and needing me to get up and get a pill. Maybe others can give you better info. Another thing to look for is when I was taking the pills I hardly ever peed. Maybe twice or 3 times a day max and most girls, myself included, pee alot more then that.

hi, other than her legs kicking at night (which sounds like RLS) what other reasons do you suspect she is using?  when was the last time she said she was using or "phase"?  what is her DOC? sorry for all of the questions, but your post was a bit vague.  ladydi4185
