This is probably a dumb question as I know that it differs with everybody but I'm gonna ask it. If I am gonna suffer the nausea crap would it have already started?  I am on hour 33. I know that isn't alot but I guess after taking percocet for pain I am kinda in the mindset of instant relief.

Good luck! I just took the hylands. I'm not sure how long it takes to work. I guess that's the mind set I have to fix. Well my husband has off all weekend so hopefully he can keep me busy. The hot baths do kinda help. I also have some sleeping Medicine I'm thinking about trying. This rls is nuts. I've never felt anything like it.

Well my husband is going out to get the Hylands now and some Epsom salt. He is so supportive. I've also started physical therapy for the pain. Hot baths do help but only for a bit. But hey I will take whatever relief I can get. I also started the immodium. Please keep me in your prayers.

Hey!   Are you drinking enough?  You need a lot of fluids. Dehydration is directly related to RLS and some other issues.  So,get in about 8 glasses of water, juice and/or gatorade every day. There's also Hylands Restfull Legs. It's at Walmart or Walgreens. Take it before a very hot bath. It will help.

This will go away in about a week. After a full 3 days,it will be less. Try to be patient and hang on. It is never easy but it's doable!

Take some multi vits and minerals as well (potassium, calcium, magnesium).

Keep posting--

I was taking 15mg 6-7x a day. I was on here a few weeks ago and I was determined to quit. Well I tried taking Xanax for the first 48 hours and it did get me thru. But then at the end of the second day I got a call that my father died. I was Already in physical pain which is why I was taking the pills in the first place but my will to fight sank and back I went. So now I'm on about 1 1/2 days. This will be my second night and I'm extemely worried. Last night I felt like I was gonna jump outta my skin. Today has been better but my fear is that it's gonna start all over again.

Well there are things you can try. Nothing really worked for me greatly except time. I did find it a little easier to relax in the evening if I took a super hot bath with Epsom salts. As hot as u can handle it and then soak for  as long as u can. Then I would have some night time tea with chamomile and valerian root among other things. Seemed to help for a bit but when I laid down the rls would be pretty bad. I also rested my calves on a heating pad at night but I don't know how much anything really helped. I kind of just had to wait it out. How many days are you? Just troll these forums and you'll get a bunch of advice. I'm not telling you to do this but I am a pot smoker and once my major anxiety was gone I started smoking just a little at night and that helped a little. I hope no one gets upset that I posted that but I'm just telling u what worked for ME. I wish u the best of luck. Let us know how long you've been off them, how much u took and for how long if ya don't mind. The people here are great and they helped me a bunch. Stick around it's worth it.

Thanks so much for your reply. Is there anything I can do to ease this?

I'm off norcos(hydrocodone instead of oxy like percs) but similar wds. My restlessness and sleep problems lasted about 3 weeks or so. It's been 32 days for me and I still wake up in middle of nite but I can get right back to sleep. It will get better I promise u that. It just takes your brain a while to start producing everything that the pills were doing for it, if ya know what I mean. Hang in there and good luck.
