when will it start?

I took my last lortab 10 yesterday around 10AM, so its been 32 hours. I have a slight headache, and just feel blah. That's about it, been taking 15-20 10's a day for almost a year. Been on them way longer just went to this amount in the last year. Anyway, i'm taking tramadol 2 times a day and neurotin for the RLS, am I just putting off the inevitable? Delaying the withdrawals? Just wonder if anyone has had a similar experience. Thanks!

Good plan. One at a time. You may or msy not feel snything since you still habe the neurontin. I have bad RLS and take Requip for the weird symptoms and that works. But the pain at night is what I started the norco for. Now trying to dtop that. Keep it up. Keep us posted.

Okay...I took my last tramodol around 2 this afternoon, so I won't take them again. Hopefully I can make it without a relapse this time. Quit about a year ago for several months, then got back at it again, with a vengeance. Didn't have withdrawals then either, but I took 4 days of suboxone to give the lortab time to get out of my system, and the worst days over with. Didn't have any subs this time, but HAVE to get off these meds, they're ruining my life :-(

Tramadol is a synthetic opioid....addictive....has an antidepressant component it it too......hard to w/draw from....so yes, my opinion is that you are putting off the inevitable....by continuing to put an opioid in your system.

The neurotin, however, will probably help with your w/drawls if you take it as prescribed.  I have taken it for nerve damage and nerve pain....but it isn't addictive.....though there are people who do abuse the drug.
You have to wean off of it....can cause seizures if you don't.

If you CT off the opioids...ALL of them.....you can get your detox going and behind you so you can work on a life of recovery.

Been on the neurotin since I was 30, so thats 10years, and believe it or not i don't abuse them, never have.Actually supposed to take 3 a day, and i never do, never even take them until i'm in bed. Had a car wreck, serious nerve damage, pins and needles all that. so I actually need this medication. I don't however need 20 lortabs a day! That's the habit thats going to kill me, and put me in the poorhouse. I can give up the tramadol Makes me paniky anyway. Think after thats out of my system the withdrawals will start? I'm just waiting nervously for this to start!!

Taking Tramadol and Neurotin is just prolonging the inevitable. If you want to get clean you need to be rid of ALL medications.
