Ok so Im 31today(9/30).NOT HAPPY ABOUT THAT cause I lost many yrs to drug use/abuse.I cnt remember a birthday since I was15that I didnt have &"need"something on my birthday to make it fun.Last yr I was off the tabs but still taking other meds.NOT THIS YEAR!!!100%sober.FEELS ODD&AMAZING!!Wish I could blow out the candles and get all those lost yrs back but now I know I can never feel the need to be on something to enjoy life!!!love u ALL.

We know we can't get those years back, but we can live life NOW like never before!  Make the most of every minute of every day.  Notice the things that you didn't notice before.  Realize that life happens, but its up to us to make the most of it.

And yes, I have my belly laugh back and my hubby listens to me from the other room and just relishes (sp?) the sound of my laughter.
He thought he would die b4 he saw me get off lortabs!

I read some old posts tonight and had so much fun laughing at the wonderful sense of humor some people have.

You don't know me, but I thought I'd sing to you anyway.  All my using days I didn't want to, wasn't able to, or didn't have the desire to sing to anyone.  As of midnight I rolled over to 100 days clean.  You have 5x that and as I was reading your post I was thinking, man, those 30's sure were great years!!!  You are so blessed to only BE 31 yrs old and have the clean time you do!!  
I am finally off every single Rx I've ever been on and still making adjustments and hoping my energy will return.
It is really fabulous that you can enjoy your 31st b-day without a need to "get high" with something!!!!  Birthday blessings and more!
