Hi,
You may be through the worst of it today. Since you intake wasn't that heavy you may get lucky.
Please try and eat something even if it is only soup and crackers. It is important to keep your strength up right now. Take this time to get the rest you need.
If you need anything, just ask.
At least take some vitamins and maybe yogurt.
I'm on day 3 too. Keep your chin up. It's a mental thing and know it will get better but you have to eat something!
Hi, I sympathise with you completely. I came off tramadol after taking it for 7 yrs so I have an idea of what you are going through. I am now on on day 42 of being clean and it's not been easy. I have two small children myself and it's not an ideal situation when you've got kids around but I'm doing it as much for them as myself. I still have terrible mood swings but someone suggested herbal tablets so i got some with passionflower extract (for its calming properties), and valerian extract which is supposed to help you sleep. Anyway I'm trying them to see if they work. Just remember why you're doing this, opiates are really bad for you and if you can stay off them then all the better for you. Don't give up, there's lots of people on this site to offer support.
i am on day 2 quitting vicodin it kind of ***** but i think i could get through it..i use to crush and snort them about the most me and a buddy would do 10 a day but we now decided it's time to stop..hows everyone else doing..???
Well I have been clean from methadone now for 1 year and a half after being on it for 3 years and let me tell you, nothing can be worse than that but what really helped me was melatonin which is also a very strong anti oxidant, which is really good for you, and in the eating department, I found that having a protein shake 2 times a day will help keeping up your energy if you can't eat. But trust me you will only feel worse if you don't get nutrition in there too and what ever you do DO NOT get on methadone. It was a huge mistake and I'll stay clean for the rest of my life if it means I never have to go thru that again. Good luck and just remember....One Day at a Time ;)
