Hi
Thanks for writing to the forum!

Such outbreaks are generally viral or allergic in nature. Common allergens are pollen, mold, dust, pet dander, food, synthetic fibers, metals, cosmetics or drugs. Red itchy bumps can be due to viral rashes like shingles or herpes. Fungal infections too can cause bumps. It is difficult to comment beyond this without examination.
I have enumerated the possibilities that come to my mind right now. Hope this helps. Please consult a skin specialist for this. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!

Hi
Thanks for keeping me posted!

Well, HIV symptoms do not appear within 20 days, except for flu like symptoms. But since the symptoms started after the episode, do get a complete STD panel (which includes HIV, gonorrhea, trichomonas, Chlamydia, etc) done to be on the safe side.

Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
