Need some support....Zoloft

Hi ALL , New to this forum. I was on 75 mg of Zoloft for the past 5 years(post partum) prior to that I had been on 25mg for 9years.  About 2 months ago I went off it cold turkey.  No a great idea! I did ok initially but ultimately feel like I need to go back on it.  Went to a new psych and she put me on 25 mg again.  I have been on it now for 13 days.  Initially I had some gi issues.  Last Thursday, day 8, I had a full blown panic attack.  Since then I have had no appetite, mild nausea and a wicked headache.  IS this side effects?   I called my doc and she was vague and said it normally does not happen with such a low dose.  I feel like I am very sensitive to chemicals as it only take a half a glass of wine for me to feel very good.  I feel like she minimized what I am feeling. I need to know I am not loosing.  Also, I am leaving a job this week that I love to take a promotion at another facility.  I am stressed out about that.  Hate saying goodbye and hate going new places.  I am a mess.  any help would be appriciated.

Your body is adjusting to the medication again and you are starting a new job. These factors can certainly cause anxiety and stress. I think switching to the new position is probably causing the most anxiety as it is something new and our bodies/minds aren't the best w/ change exp when we over think it. I would give it a lil more time and if it becomes unbearable work with your doc regarding dosage.

It's the new job causing your stress. I have acid reflux so recently stopped drinking coffee and tea and I can't believe how much it has helped. I've always loved the ritual of coffee and tea and found it very relaxing, so I thought, but I am so much calmer now that I've taken it out of my life. I am also trying fish oil supplements as I've recently read it is crucial to mental health. No harm anyway.
