Does anxiety appear in this kind of symptoms? As you know more about anxiety. Thanks.
Thanks, just wanted to get your opinion. I have been previously tested for HIV and 2 resulted negative. After I was cleared I had an incident which I got a handjob and sucked the nipple of a masseuse. Since then I have been getting anxiety. Just spoke with my doctor yesterday and told me that I'm fine and that I need to see a therapist. I'm asking your opinion as knowledgeable in anxiety is this a symptom of anxiety?
If I thought it was related to HIV, I would have said, "Hey Joe, you need to look into getting tested for HIV", not suggesting you address it as anxiety. Just you asking me that makes it apparent you're dealing with high levels of anxiety.
Really, the sooner you get help, the better. Sweeping anxiety under the rug is the worst thing you could do.
What I'm experiencing right now, in your opinion is pure anxiety and not related to HIV? Thanks.
You really need to consider seeking some professional help for the anxiety. When anxiety gets to the point where it is affecting our daily lives, it needs addressed.
You could try just therapy at first to see if that will make a difference, but you may need to eventually consider medication to help control the symptoms. There's no shame in needing medication for anxiety.
Medication alone isn't optimal either. It's the combination of meds and therapy that has the best success rate. The meds help to decrease the symptoms, while the therapy helps you learn how to undo that cycle of anxious thinking and worrying. A therapist would help you learn how to stop the "what iffing". The tools you learn in therapy will stay with your forever. That way, any time in your life you have anxiety...you can always go back to what you learned in order to cope.
I strongly urge you to reach out to a professional. Good luck.
I take clonazepam and sertraline 25mg in the morning and 25mg before I go to bed.
What meeds for sleeping did they prescribed you?
Well, today's not my best day... My psychiatrist was of the opinion that I need meds so I'm taking them, small dosis twice a day, helps to sleep at least.
Hello how are you. You alright already?
We experience the same thing. Can't concentrate much about work. Did they ask you to take some medicines?
But what bothers me the most is that I'm really tired all the time, I sleep day and night and I can't concentrate on my work nor anything else important, I could just stay in bed. But that's like depression.
I sweat a lot at night and sometimes during the day too.... my hands also shake and I get like chest pain. When I have the worst attacks I feel I want to throw up and I have to lie down.
Does this happen to you when you have panic attacks?
Have you experienced suddenly waking up in the wee hours of the night and partially sweating with a little trembling?
Hey
I have the same problem, I have this irrational fear that I got HIV from kissing, blood test, dentist needle or used toilet paper. I've talked to experts, none of the situations present any risk and sort of I understand that but sometimes I still keep on getting anxiety attacks :(
I don't like meds and I hate to take them but at one point I had to admit that I need them since sometimes it's so difficult for me to use common sense. Meds don't help alone, a therapy with a psychologist is also helpful.
Is there any ritual activity that can control this?
low blood sugar can, too much caffeine, nightmares, and....excitement for the next day. You need medication
Simple...safe sex. good luck
speak to your doctor and tell him/her what your feeling. see a LCSW to find out what is causing it. good luck
Anybody please answer my question?
Hello, can anxiety make you wake up suddenly in the early morning for no apparent reason then make you sweat and tremble?
I am sorry you are worrying. Sometimes, I worry about tests too. I think it's natural to get a little bit anxious. I'm not sure what else you could try. Sorry.
Actually my anxiety is about HIV fear. I have gotten 2 test already, it all came negative and the recent one which all doctors told me was none risk and that no testing required. Now, I'm still suffering from anxiety, even test results do play things in my mind.
I see a phychiatrist who prescribes clonazapam for anxiety attacks. You may also want to try deep breathing, meditation, listening to relaxing music to see if that helps.
