Low WBC count - can it be linked to anxiety?

As a step in my treatment with antidepressants for anxiety and depression, the doc did some blood work. It all came back fine, except for a slightly lowered count of white blood cells. Can this at all be linked to my mental issues? I've been severely stressed for the last 6 months. Many things in my life are kinda bad, and half a year ago I gave birth to a premature and underweight baby, which seems to have triggered a new round of anxiety/depression.

Yet another thing to worry about..

Most likely, it's probably just a normal fluctuation.  Did the doc tell you what the number was?  I'm assuming the doc wasn't concerned?  Also, typically, it's not likely that there would be anything troubling with only one value being slightly off.

Unless your doctor expressed to you that he's concerned about your blood work, then there's nothing for you to be concerned about.

Thank you nursegirl6572. No, he didn't give me any numbers. He sent me an SMS an said the WBC was a bit low, and that we can address it next time I'm there. I Don't have any appointments coming up though.

Sounds very much like there's nothing at all to be alarmed about.  If it was something your doc was concerned about, you would know for sure.
