librium

could anyone please tell me if librium can make you have shallow breathing the doctor gave it to me for anxiety it seems to help with that i tried other tablets and they dont help but im worried about taking the librium incase i stop breathing does anyone have any advice please.

thank you for your message it has put my mind at rest i only take one if im really stressed and high anxiety level because im scared i might get addicted to them. they do seem to help with other symptoms as well like head tingling ect thanks again for taking time to answer my message from pengi07.

I took librium a long, long, time ago.  I really don't think it will cause shallow breathing and it's not listed as a potential side effect.  It was one of the first benzodiazapines.
Shallow breathing is a symptom of anxiety tho and helpfully librium would help you with that.
