Drop in body temp??

The last few weeks have been rough on my mental state, a lot of stuff going wrong and lots of changes, but I've been fine. Today was rough, knew it was gonna be, only could sleep 3 hours last night, plus and hour nap later today. Then tonight I went to bed, took forever to get to sleep, finally dozed off, and woke up 30 minutes later having an attack. Was trying to calm down and suddenly became cold, was shivering but my skin was warm to the touch. Normal heart rate, too, checked using my SHealth app on my phone. After about 20 minutes, I took a Xanax and checked my temp, which was 96, and it runs pretty normal, so instantly became terrified. Other than lack of sleep, fear of doom, and being cold I feel completely fine. I snuggled in my blankets, and let the Xanax kick in. I checked my temp it later it was 97.1, just checked and it was 96.9. I feel fine now that I've relaxed. It's been warm here, I live in SouthEast USA, so no exposure to cold. I just need to know what I should do... A lot of my anxiety is health related, so random sudden changes really tear my nerves up...
I'm a 25 year old female. This was very sudden and seems to have gone away, at least seems that way, other than my temp hasn't gone all the way back up. Has this happened to anyone else??

When I have panic attacks I tend to get really cold like that, and start shivering. We're talking like 80% of mine are like that. It's normal.

I would suggest that next time it happens, to remind yourself that it is a normal thing.

I also get really cold and shiver when I am having panic attacks even sometimes when I don't realize I am having a panic attack but just scared like before a medical procedure or something. Hope this week gets better!

It is abnormal to check your temp unless you are running a fever. It changes throughout the day so it is purposeless to check it out of fear that you are overcooling your system.
I have never checked mine, so using the Healthapp as you do is just something to make you worry which is unhealthy.
