Hello there,
The body to survive basically needs 3 things. Oxygen, water and nutriments. It is important you provide your body will all those 3 critical things in a way there's no lack in any of them. Most of the people are having deficiencies in some of them and it can have a considerable influence on your mental and physical well being.
For the breathing issues i suggest deep breathing. It will calm you down, reduce your heartbeat, lower your blood pressure and provide good oxygenation of the whole body.
Also consider physical activity to proper oxygenation, stress/anxiety relief, self-confidence boost and general well being.
The other critical thing is proper nutrition. With today's processed food and all pesticides even if you think you are eating really well you might eventually have a nutriments deficiency. Sprouting supperfoods is a good way to get to most nutriments out of the food but there are more options if sprouting is not your cup of tea. There are some alternatives like Green+ or SuperFoodsRX here are some info about Green+ ( I'm taking it and it wonderful after i used a natural detox kit of course since i turned my diet to mostly bio-organic food )

Depression and anxiety often go hand in hand. I know when I was having severe bouts of panic, I slipped into a deep depression because we often lose our self identity and self worth. Anxiety can manifest itself in so many ways. In my experience, I was originally concerned about my heart health, so naturally I would feel every little palpatation, skip, pain, etc. in that area. Having the sensation of shortness of breath is also very common with anxiety/panic in my opinion.
Throughout these eight months, have you sought more help through counseling. While good nutrition is great at anytime, I believe it may benefit you great deal...it helped me tremendously. Mental health is just as important as your physical health, so learning to confront the anxiety will pay huge dividends in the long term in my opinion.
Thanks for the tips might be useful in the end. And to cj29 no I have not gone for help of any sort, I went through thw whole thing with family and friends but mostly myself. The only thing and i know if I just control this is the fact that I concentrate too hard on breathing that I'll focus on it too much that some negative thoughts slip in. The only thing that happens physically is I tremble a bit and i get sweaty palms, which is way better then my old anxiety attacks. Deep breathing doesn't help much as it makes me concentrate on breathing in there lies my fear. I have a sudden feeling that im going to stop breathing or sometimes when Im calm and breathing correctly I find it kind of odd like it doesn't feel right. I feel like my 8 months of anxiety attacks have caused this change and I don't know what to do about this?
Yes,i have been experiencing shortness of breathe for 2 months + now,its terrible to have,i have done chest xrays,Ecgs, all other heart test and they were fine.Sometimes its very hard to ignored it cause its very strong the sensations, but dun worry as long as u dun have any heart and lungs / asthma problems u wont stop breathing suddenly.
