Have you ever struggled with anxiety?

In April, I was taking a prescription liquid of benadryl. After 2 days of taking it, I started to feel like I had anxiety or depression (I only took it for a week) I had this really bad nervous/anxious/worried feeling in my stomach, I always felt tired & I was having unwanted thoughts. Now, the nervous feeling isn't as bad & it comes & goes. I am still trying to decide if I should see a doctor or not. Could the benadryl have had an affect? Has anyone else had this problem? All answers welcomed. Thank you.

It's very sedating.  That's what you were feeling.  All drugs have side effects, and some people feel them more than others.
