Thank you so much this meant so much to me
Have you ever heard that if you concentrate on a certain something, you'll begin to notice every little thing about it? For example, if you concentrated on the number of Nissan rogue's you saw in one day.. You'd begin to notice that so many people have one, and then you'll begin to think that you see them everywhere you go. However, it's not that more people have bought a Nissan Rogue or a coincidence, it's because you're concentrating on that particular car. Before you weren't aware to your surroundings so you didn't notice them, but now that you're concentrating on them you notice them everywhere.
The same thing goes hand in hand with what you're experiencing. First of all, I can certainly assure you that you are not dying, nor will you die from a UTI. Sometimes it takes a couple days for the medication to work, or your mind could be playing tricks on you. I experienced the exact same thing today. I noticed that I had to pee every hour today & began to think I was getting a UTI or something. But it was just because I became more aware to this part of my body and my mind was so fixated on it. I was laying around the house today, so this could also be why I noticed it more.. I had nothing to distract me. After I ran some errands, I forgot about my peeing issue and it went away.
Give it a week, and if it doesn't get better then go back to see your doctor. But I promise you, everything is going to be okay. I suffer from health anxiety myself, so I completely understand how you're feeling. Hang in there!
