These are signs of anxiety panic. I also feel like im walking on air most of the time. I have had anxiety since i was 14 years old i am now 23. It got really bad after i had my 2 kids. Is anyone else unable to drive? I am not able to drive and like i said i am a mother of 2 and really need to start driving and get with the program. The docs think that through my anxiety i have actually devolped a phobia of it! I am on Effexer and just recently had it upped but i still feel like crap. I lost many jobs because of my anxiety and couldnt live on my own for the longest. I now live on my own but i think i feel more safe because my friend lives 2 doors down so if there was a problem she would just come over. Does ne one know of any practices i can do to calm myself at anytime. Docs wanna give me meds for when i have anxiety attacks but the deal is i have anxiety all the time its not quiet full blown to where i wld have to pop a pill and it will just go away im always on edge! Ne one have any advice for me and what can be done?

It does sound like anxiety with panic attacks.  This needs to be addressed with a psychiatrist so the two of you can determine the best route of treament for you, therapy...medication or both.  Take care.

These are common symptoms of panic disorder. I get the same feelings when waiting at the stores. I get very anxious to the point I don't want to leave the house. The feeling of wanting to get out and the fear of fainting in front of people are also common symptoms of panic disorder.I would see your doctor and maybe a therapist. They can teach us coping techniques to help deal with these feelings when they happen. Although I am to the point of not wanting to see a therapist or leave the house they can be very helpful especially if you go early on during diagnosis. Good luck to you!
