How do you best deal with your anxiety?

I have a lot of problems with anxiety. I don't want my first choice to be to go to the doctors and get something prescribed. I have fluttering in my chest at least once a day, and about every other day does it progress to shortness of breath, tunnel vision/dizziness, and more fear of it getting worse, which of course doesn't help stop it.

What are some of the things that you do to help? Minus exercising (as I also have mono, so I can't exactly hop on the elliptical

Thanks!

You could try meditation. Find something you like to do at home alone, like scrapebooking. Being crafty and doing meditation help build your self confidence. I hope I was able to help in some way.
