It calmed me down a heep, and now i'm not shaking as much and my pupils are no longer dialated
HMMMMMM. If this is something your p-doc has seen before, if he knows for a fact that what is happening is not life threatening, then I suppose you should just do what he tells you. But anyone who begins to slur their words, especially an 18 year old, this is not a good sign. If you were my son, I would want his doctor to put him in the hospital for observation at the least.
I don't know how long you've been on the meds he's prescribed so it's possible you're having a very severe reaction. I know this will sound terribly paranoid, but I wish you would let someone...........a family member, a friend, a next door neighbor, know what is happening and check on you frequently. I know, I know.........you think that's really excessive, but YOU be a mother for 29 years and just see if you don't go a little odd when something is wrong!
OK, you keep us posted or mammo and I will be arriving at LAX about 1900hrs. You think I'm kidding, don't you!

talked to my psychiatrist (has his MD and prescribed me the meds) he told me to get in a luke-warm shower to start getting my blood to pumping then slowly make it colder. Then call him back to see if that improves anything.....so far ive stopped sluring my words for the most part but still shaking
We're both on the West coast and it's 10:41 now. Go stand by the phone!
Do NOT let them tell you that the doctor will call you back when HE has time! Tell them you need to speak to him NOW. While some of your symptoms could be anxiety related, some need your doctors attention ASAP.
I hope I'm making way too much of this and if you end up looking like an idiot, well, that's still better than some of the options out there.
Let us know what he says, OK?
(It's now 10:53..........are you by the phone?)
Peace

Slurring your words is not part of a panic attack, either see your doctor or go to the ER.
He's not in until 11...but im starting to calm down by distracting myself on here and posting/talking to others its helping me forget my attack thats going on
CALL YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY!
