very common for anxiety. i definetly get it alot. tips of my ears get bright red and feel like a burning sensation. i go outside and get fresh air and it goes away.
Is that where the term "cauliflower" ear came from? And all this time I thought it was a stupid boxing thing! Well, the things you learn, eh?

Well I do know that giving birth will surely get your hormones out of whack so I wouldn' t rule that out but I think (and you should check this) that red ears can be a sign of allergy. I'm thinking food allergy but don't quote me on that.
Red Hot Chili Peppers, a great band! Red, hot ears........not so great. Hmmmmmm. Hate to tell you this, but I don't have a clue why just your ears, (and I AM assuming it IS just your ears) get red and hot. You say you get "really flushed and hot." I noticed in your profile that your 33 and by the looks of that little bundle of joy your holding so proudly, you've fairly recently given birth. So let's talk hormones! After we give birth, our bodies are in a state of total disrepair.......oh, I didn't mean to say that...........our bodies are going through some really MAJOR changes from being prgnant to not being pregnant and that can result in complete hormonal chaos. My best advice would be to talk this over with your OB/GYN and see if there are some tests to determine if your hormone levels are out of whack, even more than normal. If that IS the case, it's an easy fix. Start there, if that isn't the answer, that doc will send you on to perhaps another specialist, and you will eventually get to the bottom of your flaming ears. I don't think it's anything serious, aside from embarrassing, so bundle up that precious cargo, put on some ear muffs so you don't scare the neighborhood children and go see your doc!
Let us know, OK?
Peace
