mirtazapine/remeron

ive been takin mirtazapine for just over 2 weeks..........my moods are up and down...........but my anxiety has come back.
does anyone have anything positive to say about this med.
how long does it take to 'kick in'  im taking 30mg at the moment and not sure if i should ask to take 45mg or wait a bit longer on my current dose.
i take it for depression but ive heard it helps anxiety too

I currently take 30 mg. of Remeron. Give it some time to kick in - may take up to 3 - 4 weeks. 30 mgs. is a good dose and is typically the therapeutic dosage. My feeling is if you can get results with less dosage, it's best for the body and possible side effects.
I take it because it does help with my anxiety, but I was also taking xanax with it.

I'm in the process of weaning off of my xanax currently.
