coming and going dyspnea ?

i usually experience the shortness of breath throughout my day .. for instance when im on the computer, or when im playing video games ... but for some reason when i go out and do things such as play basketball i dont really notice it .. when i sleep i never get bothered from it .. when i wake up i feel fine for about an hour when im in the bed watchin tv .. but once i wake up and go on the computer i start thinkin of the dyspnea alot and i would start to feel shortness of breath .. when i stand up it tends to get just a bit better .. it makes me question myself .. is this anxiety or is it a serious problem ?? thank you.

your absolutely RIGHT ! ... so youre saying if i read something on google .. and i automatically see somebody that types "feeling lump in back of throat" .. i would start to feel the symptoms of the back of my throat acting up ?? wow .. anxiety is somethin' else

but im sure i dont have it because these are the symptoms of epiglottitis

*Difficult and painful swallowing
*Drooling due to severe pain when swallowing
*A muffled voice
*Harsh, raspy breathing
*Difficulty breathing
*Anxiety
*Blue skin or lips

the only thing i have out of those are the difficulty breathing .. not really difficult but just shortness of it sometimes .. and anxiety .. i dont have it right ? lol

Stop looking for symptoms, that's the worst thing we anxiety-heads can do.  whatever you read, bammo!, that's your next symptom or illness.  Stay off of google!

is there a possibility that i have epiglottitis .. because i was lookin through google.com to see what it might be .. and i came across somebody who felt like there was something right in the back of his throat right behind his uvula and tonsiles .. and a doctor responded saying that the epiglotis might be enflamed .. and when i read that ... i started to feel a little something in the back of my throat as well .. but thats it .. no other symptoms besides something being in the back of my throat and shortness of breath .. but if i did have these why wouldnt i feel it while playin basketball and whatnot .. i really should stop lookin for what it is LOL .. cuz everytime i search for something i tell myself .. yeah that MIGHT be it .. but maybe im just foolin myself

It certainly sounds psychosomatic since you don't seem to have problems doing anything athletic, only when you think about it.  Could be anxiety, or it could be something else, but whatever the reason it seems like you are doing it to yourself.
