I agree paxilled. I think it would be interesting to see exactly what happened there...I remember it was significant and he had to end up demanding that the Pharmacy give him a certain kind...or the MD Rx a certain kind.
I think what Ryan said was that some generic forms of klonopin had proven problematic when substituted for a different brand a person had been taking. A good post to find for us all.
Just an added note, some people DO notice vast differences in efficacy between brands of medications. Some people report that one may work wonderfully, but another, not so much. Now, I think that the large part of the population can probably interchange manufacturers without noticing any significant changes, but for some people, it becomes a problem.
I remember Ryan reporting something like this with Klonopin, however, it may have been generic vs brand name where he had a problem, I can't recall.
Anyway, k..you should be perfectly fine. If you ever notice a significant variation between brands of (any) med, you can always request the brand of your chiuce from your druggist.
From what I can tell, those are simply both just 2 different Canadian brand names.
You would probably need to check with your Pharmacist to find out why the branc was changed. Most likely, it was just a Pharmacy choice, due to pricing, etc.
Same drug, different manufacturer. There's is no difference at all between the two and you won't have a weird reaction.
In both drugs it's the same chemical ( 6-(2-chlorophenyl)- 9-nitro- 2,5-diazabicyclo [5.4.0] undeca- 5,8,10,12- tetraen- 3-one ) being used and no other medicinal ingredients.
