Have you ever seen a doctor about how you feel? What you describe is common of a condition that sounds like it has just gone untreated and is getting worse the longer it left be. There is loads of help out there. But the longer you sit there and just hope it will go away the more embedded the problems will become. You are far from alone. I think you can see that from the whole forum. Get yourself some help. Before things get any worse for you. Get that life back you know and love so much.
Oh, you have so much company with your problem, and everyone here truuly understands what you are enduring. Anxiety normally has a root cause, usually something traumatic that happened to us in the past that we didn't truly deal with, or we have completely forgotten about. Unfortunately, it comes back in the form of anxiety. Therapy will help you discover what this is so that you can get it out and deal with it, and move on. You need to see a psychiatrist to get a proper diagnosis, and go from there. Often along with therapy medications are prescribed to help you cope while trying to figure it all out. You are not alone, and we are always here to share our experiences, and give you support. Get help so that you can get your life back and be happy again. Take care...
I think mammo is absolutey right.....i am suffering from anxiety for about 8 years now...and i am 25 by the way....so i was exactly the same age as yours when i first discovered the symptoms of anxiety.....so you are not alone..,i think you should seek professional help....best of luck
There may be a root cause emotionally, but that is not always the case! Some people really are chemically inbalanced and won't get better without meds. Get a good psychiatrist and counselor. Start somewhere. It will not magically disappear. If you broke your arm you would go to the doctor for treatment. Get the help you need. It's out there! With compassion, Studchick
