has anyone here suffered from dizziness caused by anxiety ?

basically has anyone else on here suffered with dizziness caused by anxiety and by this i dont mean just feeling abit dizzy after suffering from a panic attacks (heart racing , over-breathing ect ) i mean has anyone actually suffered from dizziness even when they dont have a panic attack ?

i suffer from dizziness almost like a offbalance , walking on a boat sensation and feeling lightheaded/faint at the same time sensation and i get it most of the time and sometimes have to go to bed as it makes me feel really ill my doctor says it caused by my anxiety the thing is at the time i get these sensations i have described im not having a panic attack where my heart is racing and im not over-breathing so what would make me feel this sensations .

please note the folowing physical possibilities have been ruled out

- blood pressure fine and ecg fine
- ENT test all came back fine
- blood work all fine

so im still here thinking can anxiety really cause the sensation i have described to you and why cant knowbody seem to give me an explaination as to why these are happening ?

thanks for taking the time to respond to my question

Spikey,

I am going through the exact same thing, for a little over a month now, and the dizziness, at least for me, is what ramps up the anxiety.  I bought some Dramamine, but that didn't seem to make a difference.  I had been spending a lot of time in bed because of it, but I think that just made it worse.  The past few days I've been getting up and staying out of bed all day and I do feel better.  It's very annoying, though, and makes it difficult to carry on with day-to-day life.  Please let me know if you find any solutions!

What you're describing sounds more like vertigo, especially if you're feeling nauseous or throwing up..which is basically motion sickness caused by the vertigo.  This is very common whether you have anxiety or not.  You normally just have to wait it out and it will go away on it's own.  Pay close attention to how you're moving your head to see what triggers it...for example, when I had it last time, tilting my head back would cause it...so I just avoided doing this until it went away. I would see an ENT and get checked out for any inner ear problems, can't hurt and may very well help!  Take care!

Maybe it is anxiety.  I feel better reading your post.. thanks.. Its got to  be mental tho because i dont feel like i stress or worry no more than the next person. and My trust is in the Lord and hes not about Fear so ist somethintg my mind and body are not on the same page about i guess i could have a chemical imbalance. lol
