Not knowing your age makes this a wee difficult to answer. If you have been on the pill for a long time, then it would be my guess (note the word GUESS) that it could very easily be the pill (or lack of) doing this to you. Your hormones have been monkeyed with for however long you were taking that stuff, and they aren't going to get themselves straightened out overnight or quite possibly for a number of months. I know that when women have oviohysterectomies (complete removal of everything) they will go into premature menopause regardless of their age. You take away those hormones and menopause is the door prize! If you are in your late 30's to early 40's and are having "heat disorder," which is a really cute term for a hot flash from hell.........and your heart pounds and you sweat..............then you could possibly be experiencing "perimenopause," which is simply a nice way to say that you are now in the holding pattern for the ride of your life!
But...........all of these are just possiblilites and guesses on my part. The only way you are going to know for sure what's going on with you is to get in and see your doctor. I really urge you to do that. This could be something as simple as menopause or it MIGHT, COULD, POSSIBLY be something else. You need to make sure, you need to take care of your health.
