Labs

Hello and Thank you in advance...
My lab results from earlier last month:

TSH 124.5
Free T4 .52
Free T3 1.8

My endocrine doc put me on 100 mcg Synthroid.  I had been on 45 mcg of thyroxine and 5mcg of liothyronine. She was ify about my continuing the 5mcg of T3.  She said every other day if I want to in case I don't convert T4 to T3.  What do you think of this RX?  I have Hashimotos and it's been awhile since I checked my thyroid antibodies but she didn't seem too concerned about testing them.  I had them tested in Jan and she said November again for  a retest.

124.5 ???

- check the lab guidelines for TSH test.

Mine uses TSH 3rd generation and this has a normal range of .4 to 4.5

So being at 18.4 this month has me out of balance - and actually I do better  (Less symptomatic) when my TSH is under 1.

Anyway - re-check your labs.

Is that decimal correct with the TSH? Very hypo

There are several different ranges for the Free's - depends on the machine used at the lab. Look on your test sheet.

They dont retest antibodies since they dont completely go away.
