Starting my journey tomorrow : )

Wow...seems like forever since I've posted on here!!

I'm officially starting my journey to some hopeful painfree days tomorrow with the repairing of a badly ruptured disk in my neck.  Apparently that has to be fixed before my decompression surgery which will be done Nov. 2nd!!  Both are blocking the flow of my spinal fluid.

Please say an extra prayer that all goes smoothly.... thanks.... : )

Kristen, I was second guessing myself too, but I know I made the right choice...it is normal to be scared and nervous.

Know u will be in our thoughts and prayers : )

Thank you so much for the kind words and prayers!!  They are so much appreciated...especially now when I'm trying to stay calm and I'm second guessing myself!!  But I really think this is the right decision (at least I hope it is) and just have to pray it is and that it turns out for the best!!  : )

The same doctor will be doing both surgeries......he said as long as I feel I am up to it I should be able to handle it.

Thanks for the prayers!!  This one went well except I'm having issues swallowing but they said that was normal and to be expected.....I am pretty sore which I wasn't expecting so I can only imagine what next week will be like!!  LOL

Wow the surgeries r so close together....do u have 2 diff drs or is the same dr doing both?
