update

hi all. i just wanted to give you a quick update. i had my surgery yesterday and am feeling pretty well. i am going to be moved to general care sometime today. i've been told that i am doing well so i hope to be out of the hospital either tomorrow or Saturday. i'm not in a lot of pain at all. mostly just stiffness and soreness. i haven't gotten out of bed yet.. have been lying on the hospital bed in the same position ALL night. thanks for all of your well wishes and prayers.

  Take it slow, even tho u feel good now, remember u still have meds in ur system....

  Rest, rest, rest...And walk....and get exercises for ur neck to avoid stiff muscles and scar tissue.

I'm so happy to hear every thing went so well.  Keep up the good work.  Also please take it easy.  The more rest you get the faster you will heal.  You just made my day posting how well you are doing.  GREAT news.

Glad to hear you're feeling well so far! I also had more stiffness than pain in the hospital. I was out within 72 hours which was great!. They will have you up and walking to see how you do with that. In the meantime, REST and keep feeling better!

Congrats!! Happy to hear it is going well for you!  I was also a lucky one and was out of the hospital in 48 hours and did not puke!  I hope it continues to go well for you.  Remember to take it easy though no matter how good you think you feel, it is still a long recovery!  -zygy
