blood clot in calf of leg, post op

Have any of you developed a blood clot (deep vein thrombosis) post op from CM surgery?  I am having extreme pain in my right calf.  I had a blood clot in the same leg post op from a hysterectomy in 1998.  Dr. Di's office told me to go to the emergency room but I'm wanting to wait it out to go to the doctor tomorrow then have him send me for an ultrasound.   I really hate the endless hours you have to spend in the ER and the expense to go for tests that way. I am already extermely concerned about my medical bills will be from the CM surgery.  I know some of you may think this is insane to wait, but I'm not having chest pains yet like before.  I will go tonight if I start any respiratory problems though.  But, I just woder if any of you have had a blood clot.

My husband has had DVTs in both legs. He has some sort of clotting disorder and is on coumadin now and will be until he dies.

Please go to the ER. The clot could break up at any time and kill you. It's not something to mess with. You need to get on Heparin right away. Please don't wait.

I have to stress u go right away...a clot can break away and cause awful repercussions very quickly......please reconsider and got to the ER....

I did not have this issue, but did have the moving leg warmers on while in the hospital to help avoid it...plus I was given shots in my abdomen to help reduce the risks.....they both paid off for me,.
