Ok...so the drug i got prescribed for my pain is carbamazepina.reading the side effects i decided imediatly not to take it.i mean this is a real drug and i am not willing to end up in coma or have a strong reaction with the anticonceptive pill i take!!!i cannot drop the pill anyhow as my pain of menstruation will make me faint or leave me crying. I am just desperate really.i will talk to my pain doctor and hope he understands...i just dont know what to do anymore really.i want to get rid of the pain,but i dont wont to end up like a ghost junky...

Call your dr and let them know you are not comfortable taking this. Yes tell them you want neurontin which is same as gabapentin. Its the least to cause issues with any other meds. Be strong and dont let drs office push you around. This is your health!!

My sweet friend....please please please do not take this. It is way to dangerouse and only normally given to patients when they are dying to control pain. Ask if she can give you something like Neurotin, and maybe like lortab for breakthrough pain. It is a narcotic butmuch safer and I agree with selma I am wondering ifit could be a leak or ICP as well. PLease dont taket this, my bff(best forum friend ) !!!!!

  How far post op r u now?

I am wondering if u r having an issue due to a leak, or if u developed ICP post op.
