Surgery is scheduled

Hi everyone......so I had my follow up visit with Dr. Soleau yesterday to get MRI/x-ray results.  I do not have a Syrinx thank God, however I do have a CSF blockage.  I am scheduled to have decompression with duraplasty and laminectomy of C1 on April 2nd.   Any info or suggestions for hospital stay would be appreciated.  Just want to be prepared & mentally ready for the post op challenge!!!

Thanks Selma.  Yes MRIs of entire spine & CSF flow were done.  I originally thought it was only cervical & thoracic, but I was wrong.  No cervicocranial instability noted on flexion/extension x-rays either.  I will review the link that you provided in preparation & will definitely stay positive.   I will have someone in my family post an update if possible, if not I will post as soon as I am able to.  Blessings to all!!!
