I talk in my sleep, and so does my son.  My fiance told me one night I was swearing mad because "these people don't know what a f****** grocery mall is!" Lol. And one time, I woke up to go to work, and found I had sleepwalked in the night and decided my scrubs needed to be washed again, not dried....I went in late that day lol.  I'm curious to see if all that goes away after surgery. But I DO have crazy vivid dreams.

Hereditary i do believe. My 13 year old son is constantly talking in his sleep. Yelling, fighting, all kinds of things. Even swearing. He never remembers.

I have to agree with Billy's assumptions...as both my DH and DD talk in their  sleep and I never did....my younger sister did, in fact one night she went in search of an elusive screw to fix her favorite chalk board...lol...

The only thing I have noticed is lately I am remembering dreams more then b4, I never thought I had dreams....I am close to 3 yrs post op and I am now having them all the time.

I find this to be a stress related or medication related thing. I wouldn't sweat it... I mean obviously it's harmless but it's totally interesting and worth noting. I woke up the other day having a conversation with my grandfather about a tv commercial involving Tiger Woods as a robot. And of course, I wake up and I'm talking out loud to nobody :) I do it all the time. Actually when I was younger I would sleep walk and have full conversations with people haha. Even went outside a couple times (that I know of) yikes!

I do:) My DD also does and she does not have chiari.  Maybe it is hereditary.  I once fell asleep on the phone as a teen and was telling my boyfriend I had to vacuum the yard.  My DD friends have video taped her sleeping.
