8 yr old having bowel accidents

My 8 year old daughter has now started to soil her pants almost on a daily basis.  She has also started going into that bathroom every hour or so.  She says she really has to pee but then there is not alot because she was in there an hour ago. But she always has a bm on her under pants {it is not a full bm but more of a leakage}.  I have taken her to the doctors and had 2 opinions. The first opinion is that "at her age" they do that and there is no reason why and she will out grow out of it.  The 2nd doctor tested for UTI (negative), did a belly xray for constipation (negative) then gave her a laxitive to take until she had a BM.  Still nothing has changed.

She does not run to the bathroom all day at school. Only at night and weekends.  And she does it at home and out at friends houses. I have asked what happens when she has the "accident" and I get the nothing happens.  It is just there.  Does anyone else have this problem or a suggestion on where to go from here.

Thanks!!!

Hi there!  Thanks for the post. She does not pee herself or the bed.  So it does not happen at night. Right around after dinner she always has poop in her pants.  It is usually the size of a half dollar and it is usually kind of liquidy.  It is a strange thing.
