Hi I hope all is ok. I know how you must feel.  I have a peri pancreatic lymph node and always worry it is a precursor to something else.

My numbers are ok so I try not to worry.
Can you discuss with your doctor?...call his nurse?
Just trying to think of something to help until Nov.  Even a weekend of worry is a lot

Thanks Hector,

Considering the enormity of your dealings, I was being pathos.
Sorry it was almost a rhetorical. I just get a tad freaked but at this stage as you say there is nothing conclusive in these markers until further investigation. I should not worry myself unduly till I see specialist again in Nov.

Cheers x

Only your hepatologist can answer that question. They have the scans and we don't. Swollen nodes usually indicate a viral infection,

People can develop HCC even when they have early cirrhosis. Not all tumors produce AFP so your AFP result tells little about the nature of condition. You should follow through and be pro-active. Liver cancer is a very serious condition.

Talk to your doctor and find out what they suspect.

Good luck.
