Patients diagnosed with congestive heart failure have a diminished ability to excrete free water load. Aside from a restricted sodium diet, these patients are generally advised by their physicians to limit fluid intake. MedHelp has added a great new tool for anyone trying to monitor the amount of fluid in a given time period. Patients (or their caregivers) will have the opportunity to track fluid consumption on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. In addition, fluid intake can be recorded in units of glasses, milliliters or fluid ounces. I hope you find the tracker helpful and will consider making it a part of your treatment management.
The trackers can be found by clicking on "My MedHelp" above. When the profile screen appears, click on "trackers" mid-screen. Next, click on "trackers" to the right hand side of your screen (small blue icon). Add any or all of the trackers that you feel will help you to maintain a healthier lifestyle. If you have any questions on how to use the tracker, please do not hesitate to ask.
