friends are good assets to have if nothing else confine in them. You say your whole family has depression then please talk to them they can and will understand. Remeber its in your parents nature to want to help and protect you. So young to already be hurting yourself; its not an answer and will only cause more suffering please adopt a mantra. I promise you will feel much better to talk to someone about this. Try distracting yourself with tasks. Push for it, no matter how useless the task is keep busy. The saying idle hands are the devils playground is true in the fact when your not busy your mind has more time to wonder. Seek help from someone talk to a school cousler if no one else they are there to help you. good luck and my prays go to you

Hello, you have so much to cope with at such a young age.  It could be that you are suffering from grief rather than depression.  There is so much more to depression than just crying.  The other members of your family must be grieving too, and they are the people who understand how you are feeling right now.  Why can't you talk to them?  Wouldn't they understand?  What other symptoms have you got?  Please keep in touch with people here if you think you are really depressed, and they will advise you as best they can.  That is what we are here for.  Are you able to confide how you feel to a close friend?  You must talk to someone.  Your doctor may be able to help you, and I suggest you make an appointment to see one.  Don't suffer this alone.  Big hug.
