I hear you. But you know, if we could just let go, we wouldn't feel so bad. I don't mean death here, I mean letting go and relaxing. Letting things be. If you can do that you'll be home free.
Great reply by Paxiled, and that's so true! Too bad it sounds easier than it is, as we all know.
I know it gets so hard, and we've all had those days where life seems to be too much. You have to push through it. What are you doing to treat the anxiety and depression?
We're here for you, we know how you feel!
Hello I hear you and understand what your saying. I have been trying to get better since 2012 and I am still hitting walls. Have you talked to your doctor about how you feel? Do you see a therapist? Community Mental health is a great place to start if your uninsured (as I was when my situation started.) I wish you the best and hope your day is "a good one.
If you continue to feel this way then go to the ER. They can help.
I don't take anything for anxiety or depression. I've told many doctors about how I feel but they never find anything and I've been to the ER many times all they do is give me all kinds of meds that don't help they Just make it worst. I have an appointment on Friday hopefully this one can help me. I don't see a therapist but my mom says I should.
Talking to people will help, just got to find the right person someone who makes you feel comfortable, some one you can trust, or someone who knows what you are going through even if its not a therapist.
Yes, talking to a therapist is definitely a good idea! Is that who your appt is with on Friday? You say when you've gone to the ER, they have given you medications that didn't work, was that for anxiety or depression? What did they give you and how long did you take it?
The ER really isn't the place to get medications for a mental illness, other than when people are in crisis mode. You really should see a psychiatrist for that.
Keep us updated on how you're doing! Glad you're posting and sharing with us how you're feeling. We're here for you.
No my appointment is for the dizziness I feel and other symptoms.
they gave me 5 different medications one was ativan I think..
they only gave me one cuz they said they're addictive.
I'm so tired I can't do anything my body won't let me this *****
Well, hopefully the doc can help you with how you're feeling. While you're there, ask for a therapy referral as well.
Let us know how the appointment goes.
Well that was pretty useless.
I told him about all my symptoms and all the tests I wanted done and all he wants to do is check my thyroid and I can't do that till Monday.
I wish I could find a doctor who will actually listen to me and want to help me. Someone who knows what he's doing.
I'm so frustrated I feel like this is never be solved. I'm scared I'll get worst.
I've been through this I had to go to the E.R. but here they have a few homes like a crisis home and I have been in 4 for weeks at a time so they can get me on the right meds. They have very friendly caring staff that take the time to listen to you and how you are feeling. I know its not the greatest place to stay without friends and family but they could visit daily and you really do meet some good people who truely care and know what you are going through. & the doctors and nurse staff will get you on the right track. I was on Ativan, Celexa, Dilantin, and Topamax (but that was for depression on top of anxiety and Epilepsy
We have to remember that the doctor is the one with the education in medicine and will know what test are appropriate and needed and which aren't. The have to justify giving tests to the insurance company, the can't just order test without a valid reason.
